Presidential candidates are notorious for giving speeches at college campuses in order to grow voter turnout from younger voters. This was no exception, Donald trump made his presence known to the small community of High Point University today. Although surrounded in recent controversy and appearing 43 minutes late, he was welcomed with open arms by the rally goers. During the time of his speech he brought up many critical points about national security. He slammed his opponent (Hillary Clinton) for her current takes on foreign affairs as well as, bashing our current administration for allowing outsourcing to China. As the upcoming election draws closer to North Carolina I am looking forward to performing my duty as an American citizen. In my view I believe this election will hold the lesser-of-two-evils argument since Trump constantly preaches words of blame and hate while Hillary constantly finds herself in "shady" situations. I hope that the candidate that wins the election this fall, will bring prosperity to this country.
