Swann V. Board of Education

Today, I presented the viewpoint of religion in defense to the Board of Education in our mock trial. I learned after shortly digging into the case that it was VERY confusing, both sides were basically fighting for the same thing to achieve integration in schools. After seeing the precedent of Brown v. Board of Education, I was very shocked that Swann would walk away with a victory. However, I believe this victory was achieved as America began to see major changes during this time to influence the court's decision.
